On October 1st, 2020, the Superior Court issued a Judgment authorizing the proposed class action in the Re-amended Application for authorization to institute a class action for the sole purpose of a settlement, on behalf of all people who, between December 29, 2016 and January 27, 2017, tried unsuccessfully to get an appointment in a private clinic in Quebec to obtain ultrasound services rendered by a radiologist, or have had their appointments canceled during this period, or have been charged a fee for such appointment.
Some of the deadline set forth in the October 1st 2020 Judgment have been modified by a Judgement issued on 30 November 2020
IMPORTANT NOTICE: REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF A SETTLEMENT

Please note that under the settlement, only class members whose appointments were canceled or postponed will be entitled to an amount of 125.00$. Class members do not have to take any steps to obtain this indemnity, except for class members whose appointments were canceled or postponed by the Centre radiologique de St-Hyacinthe.
*NOTICE TO CLASS MEMBERS FROM THE CENTRE RADIOLOGIQUE DE ST-HYACINTHE : Class members whose appointments were canceled or postponed by the Centre radioloqique St-Hyacinthe must imperatively communicate with the claims administrator at the address radiologistes@larochelleavocats.com to receive their indemnity since this imaging clinic is no longer in possession of their coordinates.
A hearing will be held on January 20, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the Montreal Courthouse to have the settlement modalities approved.

This notice of hearing contains detailed explanations on the settlement approval procedure, including modalities of participation, exclusion or objection to the settlement, for which the deadline is January 8, 2021.
